Palynx SMS Notification Consent

Palynx provides optional SMS notifications to help users stay informed about event reminders, account updates, and activity alerts related to their Palynx account.

How Users Opt-In

Users opt in to receive SMS notifications during account registration in the Palynx mobile application.

During the signup process:

  • Users may enter their mobile phone number when creating a Palynx account.
  • Users are presented with a consent checkbox to enable SMS notifications.
  • The checkbox is not pre-selected, and users must actively choose to opt in.

The consent text displayed to users is:

"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS notifications from Palynx regarding event reminders, account alerts, and activity updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."

Users may also enable or disable SMS notifications anytime within the mobile application by navigating to:

Profile → Settings → Notifications

Program Details
  • Program Name: Palynx Notifications
  • Message Types:
    • Event reminders
    • Account activity alerts
    • Important service notifications
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on user activity and events but typically does not exceed 5 messages per month.
Opt-Out Instructions

Users can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS message received from Palynx
  • Disabling SMS notifications in the app settings

Once a user opts out, they will no longer receive SMS notifications.
